Works statement:
This work is similar to commemorative medals honouring accomplished hero figures. It is created from various abandoned or damaged animal and dinosaur toys, as well as broken mineral samples collected in the corners of the Natural History Museum in the UK. These items are crafted into medals using a structure that typically goes unnoticed: the pin and screw assembly on the back of a badge.
