Bird-Shit Archive

This series of works originated from the art installation "A Bird Monument". The work is based on an incident where the author accidentally rescued a dying bird, but during this period, it was saved by other birds bringing it worms every day. The bird droppings they left behind piled up layer by layer, like a monument that no one would care about. This also triggered my reflection on anthropocentrism - while animals still help each other, humans are still engaged in conquest and war. During the design process, I want to discuss in a direct and humorous way, directly using bird droppings to intervene in different media for dissemination and expression, and using "monument" as a metaphor to extend to wearable products, experiential spaces, and installations, and readable research literature. I try to use a systematic design approach to construct and connect more thoughts and questions behind the visuals.
